I used to wear quarterly-wear and yearly-wear disposable contact lenses, and never have tried daily disposable contacts until a year ago. Although at the very beginning, I was not used to changing lenses everyday, the unnecessity of buying chemicals and cleaning lenses everyday makes me feel it fairly time-saving and convenient.
Except for the high cost compared to the other common contacts, the only disadvantage of daily disposable contact I’ve found after my application for one year, there are a pretty of advantages.
Those who wear daily disposable contacts do not have to bother buying chemicals and cleaning lenses; compared with other contacts, those of daily disposal give one fresh lenses everyday, and the wearer feel more comfortable each day. More importantly, it reduces the possibility of eye infections and works efficiently especially for dry eyes, the eye problem I usually suffer from.
And lately I was introduced another contacts which belong to the same family, the Moist version. Apart from providing the same feeling and fitting, extra moist is added to further prevent eyes from getting dry. Therefore, It works better to keep eyes moistened than the regular 1 Day lenses. I was advised to have a try of it, since I am one of those with dry eyes often.
One day disposable contacts lenses are very convenient for one to wear, plus it puts more emphasis on the care for eyes. Additionally, if the amount of money of chemicals is charged as for other kinds of contacts, daily disposable contacts come not to be so expensive.
