How to Choose and Wear Contact Lenses
Your first step is to consult with an eye doctor about the best lenses for your needs. This is especially true for people who wear prescription eyeglasses since the coloured contact lenses should also have grades to correct vision problems. But even when you are only wearing them for aesthetic purposes, consultations with an eye doctor is still recommended because the eyes are arguably the most sensitive parts of the body – it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Then, you should choose the colour for your lenses depending on your goal to either enhance or change the colour of the eyes you were born with. You can experiment with the colours until you are satisfied with the result. Keep these general rules in mind:
• The darker they are, the darker your eyes will appear. For example, blue contact lenses will make dark brown eyes appear dark blue while the same ones worn by a person with light gray eyes will result in light eyes.
