Relearning to See – Prof Peterson Improves on the ‘Bates Method’ For Better Eyesight Without Glasses

The human body has an amazing capacity to heal itself – even so far as to correct poor eyesight and vision defects without invasive surgery, and in some cases without further need for glasses. Professor Duke Peterson has proven that relearning to see is possible with sets of simple exercises that can be applied by virtually anyone over the age of three.

Professor Peterson & Dr Bates Agree
Prof Peterson, a certified Ophthalmologist, bases his work on the study and methodology of Dr William Bates, also an ophthalmologist who became disillusioned with the standard optical practices of his day. Indeed, Prof Peterson also grew frustrated with tradition in the optical community that denied the Bates technique, in favour of the ‘better’ financial judgement. “Instead, what happens is, doctors continue to prescribe glasses and contacts that do nothing but ensure over time, your muscles get weaker and you continue to be dependent on purchasing corrective eyewear for the rest of your life.”

Eye Defects
Prof Peterson declares, “You already have the ability to get perfect vision – naturally.” His revolutionary procedure has had extraordinary results with many visual conditions, including: Myopia (near-sightedness), Hyperopia (far-sightedness), Ambylopia (lazy eye), Presbyopia (old age sight), Macular Degeneration, Eyestrain, Dyslexia, Astigmatism, Cataracts, Glaucoma, Cross-Eye, retina disorders, Tension Headaches, Light Sensitivity, Poor Night Vision and more. Prof Peterson spent 25 years in Ophthalmology, 5 of which were spent studying and perfecting Dr Bates’ method and then developing his own innovations. Finally, he too, quit his practice to establish his own corrective eye institute in which he assisted hundreds of people to achieve better eyesight without glasses, even if they had been wearing them since pre-school!

Living Proof
The fun, relaxing techniques provide sharper, clearer vision in only a few short weeks. The eye, like any organ, can strengthen with exercise. As the eyes strengthen, the need for glasses diminishes and eventually is totally removed – permanently. By way of testimony: “Ever since I started your vision program, my vision has literally improved overnight. I used to wear spectacles all the time but now I’m already getting used to living without them. It’s difficult to explain but I feel like I am 10 years younger. ” (George Fenech, London, England).

Palming
One of the exercises Prof Peterson suggests is an action called Palming. This activity is especially beneficial to those of us who spend many hours in front of a computer screen. It helps the eyes to slow down their movement and to relax, with the result that one’s vision becomes clearer and the eyes are more able to focus. Further, the exercise can be done anywhere: simply rest your elbows on a firm surface and cup the closed eyes with the palms of your hands without actually touching the eyes. The eyes will see only grey to begin with but after a few minutes it will transition to black. The deeper the darkness the better, as you allow your whole body to relax. Maintain this for several minutes for total relaxation and restoration of the eyes.

This exercise, one of several, is part of the simple yet remarkable program for better vision that is natural and non-invasive. Relearning to see with ease is definitely possible and within every person’s grasp, regardless of age – it’s never too late!
